Two EthicsDaily.com documentaries will air on television networks in March.
Since announcing a more intentional focus on providing faith content for television, three EthicsDaily.com documentaries have aired more than 20 times combined on Soul of the South TV network (SSN) and National Religious Broadcasters Network (NRBN).
Now, these networks have decided to rebroadcast two of the films once again.
“Through the Door,” which highlights the faith community’s engagement with prisons, is set to air on NRBN at 8 p.m. and again at midnight (ET) on Thursday, March 26.
Programming on the NRB Network, which launched in 2005, is delivered to 45 million households via DirecTV channel 378 and local TV affiliates. It is also available online, via Roku and on mobile apps.
“Beneath the Skin: Baptists and Racism” will air on SSN at 9 p.m. (ET) on Monday, March 30.
SSN launched in May 2013 and is currently in 27 U.S. markets. Their broadcasts are available over the air in all markets and also on cable systems like Comcast, Time Warner and Verizon FIOS and others. Station availability can be located here.
“We are grateful for these continued opportunities to collaborate with NRBN and SSN,” said Zach Dawes, EthicsDaily.com’s managing editor. “The fact that they have decided to rebroadcast these documentaries on multiple occasions suggests that they have been well-received by their viewers and meet a need for high-quality faith content.”
“I hope that local church leaders will let their congregations know about these viewing opportunities, as both films speak to leading issues in our nation and offer a constructive, balanced approach to engaging these discussions,” Dawes said. “Perhaps a churchwide viewing opportunity could be organized, followed by a discussion of the films.”
