Good Faith Media will begin its monthly Good Faith Advocates’ calls on Thursday, February 2.

The Good Faith Advocates network is part of GFM’s A Better Way Initiative. The initiative works at the intersection of faith and public life to educate and inform on policy and social issues by providing advocates with just and inclusive perspectives and resources.

Advocates are people committed to GFM’s mission of providing reflection and resources at the intersection of faith and culture through an inclusive Christian lens. For those wanting more information and input into GFM’s mission, joining the advocates network will be crucially important.

One benefit to being an advocate is the opportunity to participate in a monthly Zoom meeting with GFM staff, distinguished guests and other advocates.

The first Good Faith Advocates meeting will be Thursday, February 2, at 2:00 PM EST (1:00 PM CST). This month’s special guest will be MSNBC political analyst and author Matthew Dowd. In addition, you will hear from GFM staff members Mitch Randall, Starlette Thomas and Bruce Gourley.

During the webinar, you will learn more about A Better Way Initiative, the Good Faith Advocates network, GFM’s response to Christian Nationalism, and The Raceless Gospel. You will also hear why Matthew Dowd believes the most significant threat to the church and democracy is Christian Nationalism.

The first advocates’ monthly meeting is free and open to the public, but you must register for the event to participate. Click to register.

Future meetings will only be open to those who elect to become Good Faith Advocates. Details about becoming an advocate are available here.
