A very unique opportunity is available March 10-16, 2018 on the Big Island of Hawaii. It will be an adventurous week of exploring creation with a gifted astrophysicist.
Paul Wallace, who writes the “Questions Christians ask scientists” column in Nurturing Faith Journal, will engage us in conversations and exploration as we consider life’s complexities and wonders from the tropical waters to the snow-topped summit of Mauna Kea.
Participants will have the rare chance to peer into the depths of space through a world-class telescope and to experience Paul’s personal “tour of the sky.” He holds a doctorate in nuclear physics with post-doctoral work in astronomy as well as a Masters degree from Emory’s Candler School of Theology.
We will explore other parts of the island including scenic Waipio Valley and Panalu’u Beach. And Bruce Gourley will lead us through the wonders of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
This customized, small-group experience is limited to 20 participants. Half of those spaces are currently filled. (We have both a male and female participant seeking roommates. So let me know if you’d like to consider that arrangement.)
But be aware: It you want to attend, please don’t wait too late. We cannot expand the size of the group due to housing and transportation limitations.
