1. Where did you grow up?

Greensboro, North Carolina, and Brentwood, Tennessee.

2. What is your favorite Bible verse, book or story? Why?

The 12 spies who were sent to explore the land of Canaan in Numbers 13.

It reminds me that the ensuing drama could have been avoided had the people trusted God’s leadership expressed in Caleb and Joshua.

3. What is your favorite movie? Why?

“Saving Private Ryan.”

It provides an example of how a singular focus, full-commitment to a goal, and flawed humans can be used to do something important.

4. Who are three of the people you admire?

Bill Wilson Sr. (my father), James Rogers (my father-in-law) and Jimmy Carter.

5. What is one little known fact about yourself?

I would rather garden than do most anything.
