1. Where did you grow up?

Greenville, Kentucky, a small town 90 miles north of Nashville, Tennessee.

2. What is your favorite Bible story? Why?

The healing of blind Bartimaeus in Mark 10:46-52.

It teaches me no one is to be left behind, and followers of Jesus are to hear and respond to pleas for help that others ignore or try to silence.

3. What is your favorite movie? Why?

“O Brother, Where Art Thou.”

Everett, Delmar and Pete inspire me never to give up or lose my sense of humor.

4. Who are three people you admire?

President Jimmy Carter, Mother Teresa and Malala Yousafzai (Pakistani activist and youngest-ever recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize).

5. What is one little known fact about yourself?

Other than home, I am happiest sitting in a coffee shop reading or writing. I take my own creamer, Coffee-mate.
