1. Where did you grow up?
Saint Francisville, Louisiana.
2. What is your favorite Bible verse, book or story? Why?
The Gospel of Matthew.
I’ve been living in that gospel for several years now, and I find it to be continually challenging to my understanding of discipleship.
3. What is your favorite movie? Why?
“The Hunt for Red October.”
It was one of the first “grownup” books that I ever read, and the film is suspenseful, smart and just downright cool.
4. Who are three of the people you admire?
Joe H. Ratcliff (my father), Lesley Ratcliff (my wife) and Todd Still (professor of New Testament at Baylor University’s Truett Seminary).
