Nashville, Tennessee.
2. What is your favorite Bible verse, book or story? Why?
The Sermon on the Mount from Matthew 5-7.
Jesus’ teaching shaped me as a teenager and continues to challenge me today.
3. What is your favorite movie? Why?
“The Godfather: Parts I and II.”
Despite the horrific violence, it is a fascinating case study in power and family.
4. Who are three of the people you admire?
Charles H. Warnock Jr. (my father), Martin Luther King Jr. and Mohandas K. Gandhi.
5. What is one little known fact about yourself?
I discussed both politics and religion with Chinese friends at the snake restaurant in Shanghai, China. I have since become a vegetarian.
