1. Where did you grow up?
Corpus Christi, Texas, and Rialto, California.
2. What is your favorite verse, book or story in the Bible? Why?
Matthew 20:29-32.
Jesus stops, listens, is filled with compassion and gives vision to the blind men.
3. What is your favorite movie? Why?
Any movie that I watch with my wife, Leticia Lozana Reyes, because I always learn something or gain a different perspective by watching and debriefing movies with her.
4. Who are three people you admire?
Myrte Veach (my supervisor at the Baptist Sunday School Board), Sam Edwards (a deacon at Memorial Baptist Church in Rialto, California, when we were members there) and Omar Pachecano (a deacon at a Hispanic church in San Antonio).
5. What is one little-known fact about yourself?
I am becoming a vegetarian.
