1. Where did you grow up?
Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, a small country in northern Europe.
2. What is your favorite Bible verse, book or story? Why?
The story of the risen Jesus meeting Peter by the sea of Tiberias in John 21.
It is a story of questions and answers, hopelessness and hope, doubt and faith – everything that goes hand in hand also in our lives.
3. What is your favorite movie? Why?
The “Hercule Poirot” series.
It is simply great to watch how his brain works when solving criminal mysteries.
4. Who are three of the people you admire?
Kaljo Raid (pastor of Kohila Baptist Church in Estonia), Arvo Pärt (an Estonian composer) and Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
5. What is one little known fact about yourself?
I worked for four years for the Estonian Ministry of Environment coordinating the implementation of international nature conservation projects.
