1. Where did you grow up?
In Boynton, an unincorporated community next to Chickamauga National Military Park in northwest Georgia, just over the state line from Chattanooga, Tennessee.
2. What is your favorite verse, book or story in the Bible? Why?
1 John 3:1.
It is a reminder that all we are and do flows out of God’s initiative of love, which we are called to reflect.
3. What is your favorite movie? Why?
One of the few movies I rewatch in part or whole is “Remember the Titans.”
The compelling story, great music and familiar setting; it was filmed mostly on the beautiful Berry College campus, my alma mater.
4. Who are three people you admire?
John Claypool, Hank Aaron and Dolly Parton.
5. What is one little-known fact about yourself?
I have a knack for catching baseballs before and during Atlanta Braves games.
