1. Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Muskogee, Oklahoma – my great-grandfather came as a church planter and colporteur to Indian Territory in the 1880s.
2. What is your favorite Bible verse, book or story? Why?
2 Corinthians 3:17-18.
It outlines how the spirit of God transforms us into the likeness of Christ.
3. What is your favorite movie? Why?
“The Mission.”
It offers a theology of forgiveness – one can only be freed from the burden of sin by those who have been sinned against.
4. Who are three of the people you admire?
Alan Culpepper, Babs Baugh and Dan Aleshire.
5. What is one little known fact about yourself?
I was the state tennis doubles champion of Oklahoma when I was 14.
