1. Where did you grow up?

I was born in a township on the eastern side of Pretoria called Mamelodi (Pretoria is the administration capital city of South Africa) and spent most of my teenage and young adult life in a rural area called Winterveld.

2. What is your favorite verse, book or story in the Bible? Why?

Proverbs 3:5.

This verse reminds me always to put all my hope, my trust and my faith in the Lord God Almighty and never to rely on my own abilities, my understanding or my experiences.

3. What is your favorite movie? Why?

“The Gods Must Be Crazy” (a South African comedy)

Beside the fact that it is a great comedy and I am someone who likes to laugh, the movie has some valuable lessons about the indigenous Africans, their communion life and how they related with the environment and wild animals.

4. Who are a few people you admire?

Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu and Martin Luther King Jr.

5. What is one little known fact about yourself?

I love children; they have a special place in my heart.
