1. Where did you grow up?
Ventura County in Southern California.
2. What is your favorite Bible verse, book or story? Why?
One of my favorite verses is Romans 12:18.
I think this is the best “one verse” summary of peacemaking in the Bible.
3. What is your favorite movie? Why?
“Avatar.”
It poignantly illustrates the challenges of bridge building with a different people.
4. Who are three of the people you admire?
Jesus Christ, Martin Luther King Jr. and Nelson Mandela.
5. What is one little known fact about yourself?
I love animals, having grown up with mountain lions, monkeys and honey bears in my back yard.
