1. Where did you grow up?
Pensacola, Florida; Foley, Alabama; and Buffalo, New York.
2. What is your favorite verse, book or story in the Bible? Why?
It reminds me that God does not categorize me as society does and that there is more to my living and being than these external markers.
3. What is your favorite movie? Why?
I have no favorite movie, as I love many, but I am often drawn back to the story portrayed in “Finding Forrester.”
I wish that I could have a mentoring relationship like the one shared by the two writers, William Forrester (Sean Connery) and Jamal Wallace (Rob Brown).
4. Who are three people you admire?
Eva Mae Thomas (my grandmother), Howard Thurman and Martin Luther King Jr.
5. What is one little known fact about yourself?
While I love people and the sound of life, I love solitude and stillness more.
