Huntersville, North Carolina, just outside of Charlotte.
- What is your favorite verse, book or story in the Bible? Why?
I feel like God has given me the gift of a life and livelihood that includes the opportunities to share the good news to all I have the chance to influence and guide.
- What is your favorite movie? Why?
“The Man from Snowy River.”
I’ve always wanted to be a real cowboy and own a mountain in Australia (not really, but can you imagine?).
- Who are three people you admire?
Julie McCoy (my wife), Sam McCoy (my dad) and Bruce Neal (a retired Canadian Baptist pastor and mentor).
- What is one little-known fact about yourself?
I was the drum major and field commander of my university marching band at Mars Hill University.
