Todd D. Still is DeLancey Dean and Hinson Professor at Baylor University’s George W. Truett Theological Seminary in Waco, Texas.
1. Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Texas and was born in Wichita Falls in 1966. My family moved to Meridian when I was 12 and then to Waco when I was 16.
2. What is your favorite verse, book or story in the Bible? Why?
This seems an unfair question, akin to asking me which of my sons I most love! A verse that I place frequently before myself is Philippians 2:5.
I highly value this verse because it calls me to cultivate a Christ-like habit of mind.
3. What is your favorite movie? Why?
Although I enjoy watching movies, I seldom do; if I were to have a favorite movie, it would be “Hoosiers.”
I love it when David beats Goliath.
4. Who are three people you admire?
Willard Still (my father), Condoleezza Rice and N.T. Wright.
5. What is one little-known fact about yourself?
I like ice cream far more than I should.
