Rebecca Skaggs Ramsey

Rebecca Skaggs Ramsey is an author, a blogger, a speaker and the minister to children at First Baptist, Greenville, South Carolina. Her first book, French By Heart, was widely praised by The New York Times and The Philadelphia Inquirer. Her newest book, The Holy Éclair: Signs and Wonders from an Accidental Pilgrimage tells the wild faith transformation story that she didn’t share in her memoir, French By Heart, in which God leads her out of the church and onto the cobblestone streets of Clermont-Ferrand. In The Holy Éclair, readers come along as she encounters God through a steady stream of ragtag saints and ordinary wonders, turning her faith upside down and teaching her the meaning of grace.

Becky and her husband Todd are the parents of three grown children. Apart from hanging out with her people, some of her favorite things include listening to kids talk, scouring flea markets for junk to put in her house, and spotting faces in everyday things. Writing and making things are her favorite ways to pray.
