Wallace W. Horton

Wallace Horton is a Commissioned Minister of Religion (Emeritus) of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. His graduate studies include a Doctorate from The Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies, A Masters Degree in Church Music from Biola University, a Master Degree in Music from California State University – Long Beach, and the Colloquy Program for the Teaching Ministry of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.

He served in full-time worship and music ministry for 45 years prior to his retirement in 2015.  Since then, he continues to serve part-time in a Northern Virginia Lutheran congregation. He has been married to his wife, Joan, for 50 years. They have two grown children and four granddaughters.
