Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of working with Lucy Huh during her time as a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Church and Community Impact (C3I). Her compelling research on Clergy Sexual Abuse centers survivors’ voices with deep empathy, shaped by her own lived experience. Lucy approaches this difficult yet essential work with grace, quiet strength, and a fierce commitment to justice, making churches safer and more accountable.

Lucy is a compassionate leader and a tireless advocate for change. What sets Lucy apart is not only her academic skill but the integrity and intentionality she brings to every aspect of her work. She listens deeply, speaks thoughtfully, and consistently honors the dignity of those whose stories she lifts up. Her ability to balance rigorous research with heartfelt advocacy is rare and deeply needed.
