Ron Perritt

Ron Perritt is a retired Electrical Engineer, having earned a PhD at Louisiana State University were he taught for many years. He also led a group which trained other engineers in computerized process control when employed by the Dow Chemical Company. His interest in theology and coherence led him to participate in the Oxford Summer of Religious Studies and receive a Master of Theological Studies Degree from Candler School of Theology at Emory University. He taught courses in theology for the Department of Continuing Education at LSU and has led bible studies at University Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, LA for over 50 years. His desire for an understanding of Christianity that is coherent and founded on the teachings of Jesus led to his book Coherent Christianity: A More Liberating and Less Traveled Way. He and his wife Patsy enjoy traveling and photography.
