While visiting the late author and activist Will Campbell at his farm in Mt. Juliet, Tenn., years ago, he told me of going down to retrieve his mail at the same time as two neighbors. They lingered and chatted for a while.
One neighbor asked the other: “You read ol’ Will’s last book?” The neighbor shook his head and said, “God, I hope so.”
While this is my last Nurturing Faith blog, don’t get your hopes up. I’m not finished writing.
Starting tomorrow, however, my opinion writing will move to the Good Faith Media web site — as we officially launch this new, expanded organization.
Also, I’ll still write editorially in each issue of Nurturing Faith Journal, which will continue under the umbrella of Good Faith Media. (Please subscribe.)
