Hello, my fellow Americans. This is I Am Who I Am, aka “God”—the one from those black-and-white billboards. I need a little more space this time.

I addressed you as “my fellow Americans” to get your attention because I know many of you have reduced me to being an American. Since you believe America is “exceptional,” why wouldn’t God be an American?

Those who believe that are exceptionally arrogant.

To be clear, I am with you. And yes, I “get you.” But I also “get” and am with every other country and collection of people.

It is with deep sadness that I ask you to please take my name off your money, license plates and school walls. I never wanted it there in the first place. Remember what I said through the prophet Amos?

“I hate, I despise your festivals, and I take no delight in your solemn assemblies. … Take away from me the noise of your songs; I will not listen to the melody of your harps. But let justice roll down like water and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream” (Amos 5:3-24).

I don’t want to be on your money. I want your connection with me to radically alter your

behavior. You keep saying, “In God we Trust,” and that you want the United States to be a Christian country.

I’d rather not be associated with that gut rot. It has the stench of human waste in my nose.

While my heart was breaking under the weight of slaughter in Ukraine, many of you were more concerned about what the president of Ukraine wore to the February 28 meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office. One of your reporters—to the applause of many of you and the mocking laughter of Vice President Vance—asked President Zelensky why he wasn’t wearing a suit.

Yet you same people didn’t seem bothered that a powerful American man, just a few days before, was in the same room wearing a printed t-shirt and ballcap while blithely talking about firing thousands from their jobs. You also didn’t seem fazed when Saudi officials visited the Oval Office in their traditional garb.

To be sure, this isn’t “whataboutism.” I’m not addressing the merits of what to wear during official business. I’m reminding you that it was the Pharisees and Sadducees who got all bent out of shape about protocol—stirring up rancor about superficial issues while neglecting peace and justice.

You may remember that while Uriah was summoned from the battlefield for deceptive official business, he stayed in a deployed state of mind—sleeping on the ground—out of respect for his soldiers. Do you remember how bad things went in the long run for the deceiver, King David?

One last thing, detest bullying. President Zelensky was attempting to carry on a conversation in a non-native language.

In a later interview, he had to have the English word “regret” explained. The Oval Office conversation was led by an aggressive host who only speaks one language—and speaks that one “bigly” badly.

Zelensky was then accused of “litigating” problems in front of TV cameras that the host had invited to the meeting. The host—who first enchanted your junk-food-hungry minds as an abusive boss on a banal TV show—then told reporters: “I think we’ve seen enough. This is going to be great television. I will say that.”

You have a word for “a person who psychologically manipulates another individual by making them question their own reality, perceptions, or memories, often leading to confusion and a loss of self-esteem.” The word is “gaslighter.” Your dictionary says, “This behavior is a form of emotional abuse aimed at gaining control over the victim.”

One of my books states: “If anyone sins because they do not speak up when they hear a public charge to testify regarding something they have seen or learned about, they will be held responsible” (Leviticus 5:1). In other words, to see something wrong and not speak up is to be guilty of the wrong thing you have witnessed.

You identify yourselves as a democratic republic with the freedom of the people to speak. So, speak.

You say you want the United States to be a Christian country, yet your behavior is not a reflection of my earthly incarnation in Jesus Christ. You are hurting my kin-dom.

So, I now want to say something to my global children outside of Christianity and outside the United States. Let me be clear: The way MAGA-seduced Christians are worshipping domineering secular power does not reflect my love or will. I long for all of you to experience the healing power of humble and awe-filled spiritual connection.

Think of it this way— Have you ever seen someone lip-syncing? They are pretending to sing.

It can be very convincing. It’s literally paying lip service to the real music. But when you find out it’s just lip-syncing, it doesn’t stop you from reveling in genuine artistry—from Bach and Beethoven to Beyonce and Shaboozey.

Despite the fake piety and abusiveness of the lip-syncing Christianity of MAGA, please continue to pursue the mystery, nurture and hope of genuine faith that elevates retribution into grace and transforms conflict into harmony.

With Sincere Love,

I Am Who I Am
