Sara Fimmano is joining Bella Ball as a Good Faith Media Ernest C. Hynds Jr. intern for summer 2023.

“I am so excited to be interning with Good Faith Media,” Fimmano said. “My activism is mostly focused around how writing and art can change the world. I focus most on LGBTQ+ rights and women’s empowerment from an intersectional perspective. I can’t wait to get started this summer!”

A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Fimmano is a student at Belmont University in Nashville, majoring in faith and social justice as well as rhetorical writing, and minoring in fashion studies and Italian.

“Sara Fimmano continues the rich history of Good Faith media interns,” said GFM CEO Mitch Randall. “Her passion for social justice, especially advocating for women’s rights and LGBTQ+ inclusion, is awe-inspiring. Sara is a great addition to the GFM team!”

The Ernest C. Hynds Jr internship was launched in 2020 through a gift from the foundation of First Baptist Church of Athens, Georgia, where Ernest Hynds was a beloved member. Hynds was a professor and department head in the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia.

Brief reflections from previous interns about their experience are available here.

Gifts to support this ongoing engagement with the next generation of communicators may be made by contacting Mitch Randall by email (mitch@goodfaithmedia.org) or by phone at 615-627-7763.

Prospective interns may learn more about the internship program here, and can inquire about upcoming internships by contacting GFM at internships@goodfaithmedia.org.

The deadline to apply for the fall 2023 internship is July 2.
