A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Bruce Salmon served for 33 years as pastor of Village Baptist Church in Bowie, Maryland. He received his Bachelor of Arts with a major in English from Baylor University and the Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
